Fashion make-up - Blue arrowKeep your eyebrows in shape. Many women neglect plucking their brows, believing that a little extra hair here and there wouldn’t really make a big difference. Well, it does, and you would be surprised to see how much. Neatly plucked brows open up the eyes, and make them look larger and more prominent. They also make your face look cleaner, and your features stronger. Many models I know swear by the difference a well plucked brow makes.

Stick to the same beautician. If someone knows your brows and gives you a shape you like, make sure you stick to her, and don’t keep changing your beautician.

If you do not have access to a beautician for whatever reason, or if you are living outside India and find it too expensive to get your brows threaded every ten days, shell out the money to get it threaded once, and from then on, thread your brows regularly by yourself.

Take it slow and easy when plucking your brows, so make sure you have plenty of time. There is no cause for hurry, and if you rush, you may overpluck, ruining the shape. If your brows are shaped unevenly, your eyes can also look a little warped. Yes, it’s true. It’s all about optical illusion. One eye will suddenly start looking smaller than the other, or higher than the other … or even crooked! You don’t want that, do you?

laser-depilacion-1There are only two permanent hair removal methods available today.
Laser is one of them. Since decades there was a need for both men and women for permanent hair removal. It removes unwanted hairs permanently, however it requires repeated treatments after specific periods. And also it is very costly.
The biggest advantage of Laser hair removal is it removes hair permanently and gives a wonderful feel. Laser hair removal functions by sending a beam of laser light to the hair follicles with enough power to destroy the roots but never destroys the surrounding. Absorption by the follicle eventually results in its ceasing to grow hair in that area. The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment in the hair and transmitted down the hair shaft, destroying the hair root growth mechanism. The laser disrupts the hairs that are principally in the active growth phase at the time of treatment.

Electrolysis is another permanent hair removal method. In fact, it is the truly permanent hair removal method because with Laser, it requires repeated treatments to reduce the hair growth whereas Electrolysis removes hairs permanently in one go. With Electrolysis, a discomfort and pain can occur. And it removes hair by damaging its follicle one by on, so it is time-consuming.

So there is a variety of hair removing methods available, one can choose according to their specific needs and choice. Skin sensitivity, time consumption and expense may be the choosing factors behind any hair removing method. You can also read more about the hair removal techniques and their advantage and disadvantage and frequently asked questions about these methods. visit website hair-removal-techniques.com for detailed information on various hair removal methods.

Is Laser Hair Removal Permanent?

This method of hair removal is supposed to be a permanent treatment and it is true that in follicles that have been exposed to laser treatment, hairs can cease to grow for the long term.

However, you should not be under the impression that this laser hair treatment is a one-off, simple solution which can solve all your hairiness problems in a jiffy. In laser treatment hairs must be zapped multiple times; at any one time, only a certain percentage of the hairs will be actively growing and these are the ones that are targeted by the treatment.

For this reason, one normally requires 5 or more laser hair treatment sessions in order to obtain satisfactory results, but the ultimate reward can be a fantastic result – such as a 90% reduction in the treatment area. Even better, the hairs that remain tend to be weaker, thinner and paler than before, so the growth that is present can be significantly less noticeable.

Will it Work for Me?

For this method of removal to work, your hair must contain melanin. This is the pigment that makes your hairs appear dark. However, even blonde hairs do contain some melanin, but white, grey and some shades of red hairs do not and aren’t suitable for this removal method. Hairs which are dark absorbs the energy from the beams most efficiently, so black hairs respond the best to laser treatment. Hairs which are brown also respond well – the darker the hairs, the more effective the therapy is likely to be.

What About the Cost?

One of the biggest concerns is surrounding the cost of laser treatment. Hair removal in general can be expensive – waxing and electrolysis prices are high and even temporary methods such as using shavers and creams, when you tot up the long term cost, are not cheap.

Laser treatment is no exception, but the possibility of it offering a long term solution does make the cost more acceptable in the long term.
